Outstanding Commitment to Service and Achieving Top Ratings In Patient Experience

February 2023 –Specialty Hospital at Rittenhouse

We are pleased to recognize the entire team at the Specialty Hospital at Rittenhouse this month with a Patient Experience Award.

For the last seven consecutive months, the team has achieved 100 percent “Top Box” ratings through patient satisfaction surveys after discharge. 

The Specialty Hospital uses Press Ganey, a third-party vendor, to ask discharged patients about their experience. It is one data point that helps us monitor patient safety, quality and overall experience.  The Top Box score reflects how often patients rate their stay as most favorable.

The Specialty Hospital is a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH).  Our team of specialized rehabilitation nurses and therapists partner with Penn Medicine physiatrists to care for medically complex patients.
