It was an amazing night and weekend for GSPP Rehabilitation at the 130th Penn Relays.
Two teams of GSPP clinicians laced up the spikes to run in the Corporate DMR Relay on April 24. Both GSPP teams (Team A: Brian Zabilski, John Bellace, Ashley Underkofler & Joe Cardie; Team B: Erica Ferraiolo-Shearn, Emily VanderMeer, Rich DiGiacomo, Michael Marano) had fun and performed well against tough competition, including U.S. Olympic gold medalist Matthew Centrowitz. Thank you to all the runners, alternatives and the many GSPP colleagues, family and friends who came out to support the team’s efforts in the Relays. GSPP ran the Relays this year in support of our community partner, Students Run Philly Style, by collecting shoe donations, which they accept at any local PHILADELPHIA RUNNER location.
Additionally, more than a dozen GSPP clinicians volunteered as medical staff throughout the weekend.
