Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine Named Among America’s “Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers 2020”

Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine has been named among the nation’s “Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers 2020” by Newsweek magazine.

Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine ranks second overall in Pennsylvania, and is the top rehabilitation provider in the Philadelphia area, according to Newsweek‘s rankings.

“We are so grateful to have received this achievement to be recognized as one of the top physical rehabilitation centers in the Philadelphia area,” says Jessica Cooper, Executive Director at Good Shepherd Penn Partners. “Our patients choose Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine for our compassionate, high-quality care and services, matched with the latest advancements in medical science and rehabilitation technology. Our team is passionate about helping our patients get their lives back, one step at a time.”

Newsweek utilizes third-party research and analysis to rank providers using two data sources: a peer-to-peer reputation survey and key performance data from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS).

Reputation survey data is based upon responses from thousands of medical professionals, including therapists, physicians and administrators who work in physical rehabilitation facilities. Those medical professionals are asked to rank their peers according to quality of care, service, follow-up care, accommodations and amenities. The full Pennsylvania rankings are available on Newsweek’s website.

Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine is located at 1800 Lombard Street, Philadelphia, and provides the highest quality of inpatient rehabilitation care, including neuropsychology, occupational therapy, psychology, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, respiratory therapy and speech language pathology.
