  • Empowering EveryBody: Empowering EveryBody is a program that is designed to help individuals adjust to life with a disability through education, discussion, and resources.
  • Hair Loss Support/ Education: Sessions offered for individuals experiencing hair loss as a result of medical treatment, diagnoses or surgery. Sessions consist of hair loss support, education on purchasing hair as well as recommendations, considerations and assistance in planning.
  • Facility Dog Program / Animal-Assisted Therapy: Wellie provides comfort and emotional support to patients, contributing to a positive and calming atmosphere. Her presence helps reduce stress and anxiety, offering a sense of warmth and companionship during difficult times.
  • Group Program for Inpatient Rehab (Including Brain Injury Unit): The general rehab (third floor) offers a Thursday social group. The Brain Injury Unit’s Wellness Program offers two weekly group options: “Holistic Wednesday” and “Fun Friday.” Activities include dance therapy, spa day, painting, karaoke, and trivia. They also provide a 30-minute chair yoga and meditation group with breathwork, visualization, adapted yoga, and sound healing bowls.
