Lymphedema therapy at Penn Therapy & Fitness

Cancer-Related Fatigue

Cancer-Related Fatigue is one of the most common side effects of cancer and its treatments. While there are a number of different reasons why you may have fatigue, exercise can be an effective tool to help decrease cancer-related fatigue.

By becoming more active, you can reduce your fatigue and increase your energy to do the things you want to do.

Cancer Rehabilitation Can Manage Conditions Related To Fatigue Including:

  • Decreased endurance
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Low energy levels
  • Whole body tiredness

By becoming more active, you can also begin to recondition your body and regain some of the strength that cancer treatment often takes away. At Penn Therapy & Fitness, our therapists work with your physician to create a customized treatment plan including an individualized exercise and reconditioning program to reduce fatigue, increase activity and well-being.
