The Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania – Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (HUP – PPMC) has been named to the US News & World Report list of Top Rehabilitation Hospitals for 2022-23.
This recognition includes the Penn Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine (PIRM) and acute therapy services at HUP, services that are managed by Good Shepherd Penn Partners (GSPP).
The PIRM is located in the Rittenhouse section of Philadelphia and provides specialized inpatient care to patients recovering from serious conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.
This year’s ranking places HUP-PPMC in the top five percent of rehabilitation facilities nationally. Inclusion on the list of specialty providers is based on numerous factors, including meaningful patient outcomes and expert opinions.
The US News & World Report rankings can help patients and their family members find the facilities that provide the best care.
