PHILADELPHIA — Thanks to the support of a generous donor, Penn Medicine Rehabilitation, an inpatient unit of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania that is managed by GSPP Rehabilitation, recently acquired Zeen mobility devices.

This technology, which is used by our experts at 1800 Lombard Street, combines the benefits of a walker and wheelchair, providing patients with improved mobility and support for standing and walking.

The team, which works with patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cancer and other diagnoses, utilizes the technology as part of appropriate patients’ overall inpatient rehab care, helping with independence and confidence in their daily activities. Penn Medicine Rehabilitation is a CARF-accredited rehabilitation center.
