Sports Rehabilitation

The sports rehabilitation program at Penn Therapy & Fitness offers athletes comprehensive rehabilitation for their injury. The team of physical and occupational therapists utilizes the latest equipment and most current knowledge to care for athletes while respecting each individual’s timeline for a safe return to sport. 

Our therapists are experienced in treating at every level of sport, from high school students to professional and Olympic-level athletes. Team members are leaders in their field, frequently presenting scholarly work a local, national and international conferences. 

Evaluations

Our sports rehabilitation therapists evaluate active and chronic injuries, offering functional assessments of patients post-injury to assist in a safe return to sport. 

Treatment & Rehabilitation 

Treating and rehabilitating of sports injuries is at the center of sports rehabilitation. Therapists often work with physicians to design and implement programs for the management of neuromusculoskeletal disorders in clients of all ages and physical abilities. 

Prevention

Our therapists can help athletes prevent injuries and, should one occur, continue their pursuits with minimal disruptions. Therapists offer pre-participation screenings, recommend equipment and develop cardiovascular programs to assist in a safe return to activity.
